- Worked on Clip Radio
iPhone app for Clip Interactive. - Client side iPhone app that lets
user identify a radio station by recording a short length of audio and
uploading it to a server for matching. Client receives song
information, special offers, and contest information from server via
RESTful web API in JSON format. Ability to share activity via Twitter
and Facebook APIs. Currently available on iTunes App store.
- Worked on VBrick video
browser plugin for VBrick Systems, Inc. - Upgraded the OS X version of
VBrick video player NPAPI plugin to be compatible with 64-bit Lion
10.8. Replaced incompatible QuickTime frameworks with OpenGL and Core
Audio equivalents. Replaced Carbon event model with Cocoa model, and
QuickDraw drawing model with Core Animation. Bundled into several
VBrick Systems commercial products.
- Worked on Blockbuster Mobile
Android app for Blockbuster, Inc. - Android version of mobile app for
iPhone (see next entry). Preloaded on select Verizon and AT&T
devices, available free on Google Play and Android Market.
- Worked on Blockbuster Mobile
iPhone app for Blockbuster, Inc. - Official Blockbuster iPhone app,
combined ability to locate titles in nearby stores, manage queue for
Blockbuster DVD-by-mail customers, and purchase or rent digital titles
for download directly to iOS device. Communicated with server via
RESTful API in XML format. Required downloading and storage of large
files, custom UI, account syncing with other devices, e-commerce
interface, full video player capabilities. App was not released.

- Developed SnapTag Reader
iPhone app for SpyderLynk - Reader app for “SnapTag” style 2D barcodes.
App shows a camera interface that provides video feed to a third party
library that identifies the code within the image. App communicates
with server to receive information and offers associated with the
scanned tag. Currently available on iTunes App store.

iPad app - App for browsing, purchasing, and streaming videos from an
online catalog. Utilized scrolling menus for titles and integrated

Developed Sun Stone iPad app - Educational app for exploring meaning
of the glyphs on the Aztec Calendar monument. Features zoomable
single-view display, custom controls, tappable animated zones overlaid
on high-res photo of monument. Technologies involved: Core Animation,
CAShapeLayers superimposed on UIImageView controlled by zoomable
UIScrollView. Submission to iTunes App store pending.

Developed Meetchu iPhone app - Quick contact management app. Provides
a very streamlined interface for quickly recording name and photograph
of newly introduced people, along with location and date info. Group
stored contacts into categories, and review later to reinforce putting
names with faces. Ability to export contacts to iPhone Contacts app.
Technologies involved: AVCaptureSession, Core Data, Core Location,
MapKit, UIKit. Paid app and trial “lite” version currently available on
iTunes App store.

Developed BrewTour CO and BrewTour OR iPhone apps - Directory apps
for macro and micro breweries and brewpubs in Colorado and Oregon.
Features map views, contact information, multiple sorting options, and
ability to store personal beer-rating info for each brewery.
Technologies involved: Core Location, MapKit, Core Data, UIImagePicker,
UIKit. Currently available for free on iTunes App store.
